    Abstract:
    The inclusive electron-nucleon scattering cross sections in the resonance region for both hydrogen and deuterium targets were measured. From these cross sections, the structure function F2 was extracted. The obtained data indicate that the F2 structure function at low momentum transfers follows the behavior of valencelike quarks only.
