   Abstract:
   This paper analyzes the cascaded equivalent form of the minimum variance distortionless response (MVDR) beamformer. Simulation experiments are presented that demonstrate the applicability of the M² VDR beamformer in resolving closely spaced sources under impulsive interference conditions.
