   Abstract:
   The proceedings contain 80 papers from the Conference on Coherence Domain Optical Methods and Optical Coherence Tomography in Biomedicine IX. The topics discussed include: 4D optical coherence tomography of the embryonic heart using gated imaging; discrimination of atherosclerotic plaque constituents based on local measurement of optical attenuation coefficients by OCT; application of optical coherence tomography for tissue engineering; ultrahigh-resolution optical imaging of cellular structures of high-scattering biological tissues with whole-field optical coherence microcopy; three-dimensional retinal maps with tracking optical coherence tomography (TOCT); and high-speed frequency swept light source for Fourier domain OCT at 20 kHz A-scan rate.
