    Abstract:
A method-of-moments (MoM) analysis is used to determine late-time resonances of dielectric bodies of revolution (BOR), buffed in a lossy layered medium, with application to plastic-land-mine identification. To make the analysis tractable, we have extended the recently developed discrete complex image technique (DCIT) for the evaluation of the (dyadic) layered-medium Green's functions to complex (resonant) frequencies. Results are presented for several buried dielectric targets, in which we demonstrate, for example, the spiraling character of the resonant frequencies as a function of target depth.
