Abstract: A Haar-wavelet-based multi-resolution time domain (MRTD) model is applied for the analysis of a three-dimensional ground-penetrating radar (GPR) system. The MRTD analysis is reviewed, with a focus on its application to a resistively tapered horn antenna system. Computed GPR scattered fields are compared to measured data, for a buried target, and the model is utilized to perform phenomenological studies
