   Abstract:
   The phosphorescence spectra of N-ethylcarbazole in n-alkanes consist of sharp lines which may be grouped in slightly shifted subspectra. For n-heptane, using narrow band excitation, distinct subspectra were observed at 4°K. Each subspectrum is associated with a specific site of the guest molecule in the n-heptane microcrystal. © 1974.
