Abstract: Following the 141Pr(3He, 4n)140Pm reaction and, for 140Pmg, transport by a helium-jet recoil system, γ-ray spectra and γ-γ coincidences were observed with Ge(Li) detectors including an anti-Compton spectrometer. The proposed decay schemes incorporate 8 of the 14 γ rays assigned to 140Pmm decay and 4 of the 9 γ rays attributed to 140Pmg decay. Proposed levels at 1414.3(O+?) and 1491.1(2+) keV in 140Nd are probably the members of the two-phonon triplet also found in other N-80 isotones
