   Abstract:
   Two different experimental systems are used to measure angular correlations between K and L X-rays in Ta following electron capture in ¹⁸¹W. The values obtained for the coefficient A₂₂ (in an angular distribution W(&thetas;)=1+A₂₂P₂(cos &thetas;)) were (24±3), (3.2±0.2) and (3.4±0.9), all times 10^-2 for Kα₁-Ll, Kα₁-Lα₁₊₂, Kα₁-Lβ respectively. Comparisons are made with theoretical predictions
