Abstract: Idiopathic monoclonal (IgA) gammopathy in a dog was differentiated from multiple myeloma, based on the lack of Bence Jones proteinuria, no osteolysis, and no plasma cell infiltration into bone marrow, as well as on the stability of the gammopathy for over 18 months. The dog was not treated but remained clinically normal for 18 months.
