Dissertation Title: Rachel Tay is a third-year PhD student in the Graduate Program in Literature. Her research interests include the philosophy and aesthetics of media and technology, political economy, data science, and cognitive studies. Her recent work centers the problem of distraction as well as its techno-aesthetic figurations in contemporary digital culture.
