   Abstract:
   Iranian theocracy is based on the political theory of Ayatollah Khomeini that is called the guardianship of absolute jurist-counsel. This is an appointive or non-elective government. Theoretically the ruler is appointed by God, or His Prophet or hidden Imam, but practically he is selected by the members of the Assembly of the Experts. This book is the critical analysis of this theory.
