   Abstract:
   We measure the relative rate of production of orbitally excited [Formula Presented] states of B mesons [Formula Presented] by observing their decays into [Formula Presented] We reconstruct B mesons through semileptonic decay channels using data collected in [Formula Presented] collisions at [Formula Presented] The fraction of light B mesons that are produced as [Formula Presented] states is measured to be [Formula Presented] We also measure the collective mass of the [Formula Presented] states, and quantify the result by quoting the (model-dependent) mass of the lowest [Formula Presented] state to be [Formula Presented] © 2001 The American Physical Society.
