   Abstract:
   With the prevalence of obesity being at record levels and showing every indication of increasing descriptors such as “epidemic” and “crisis” seem justified (1). To prevent even more unnecessary death, disability, and damage to the nation’s collective well being, an honest analysis of cause is necessary; the factors contributing to the causes must be identified and confronted, and bold action must be taken to change the conditions causing the problems.
