   Abstract:
   The irradiation of several acyclic α-formyl ketones in the presence of alkenes gives rise to photoproducts derived exclusively from that tautomer enolized toward the aldehyde carbonyl, which can then be cyclized to provide a new cyclohexenone annelation sequence. © 1975, American Chemical Society.
