   Abstract:
   The stereoselective addition of a variety of nucleophiles (ROH, RSH) to several 2-acylnorbornadienes provides an efficient synthesis of the title compounds. The allyl ethers derived from the addition of allyl alcohol are stable to many synthetic transformations and readily liberate the 3-exo alcohol on reductive cleavage. © 1974, American Chemical Society.
